Latest Questions about Four Wheel Drive & Lord of the Rings - Off Road (Queenstown)

Hello,
Enquiring about a private tour for two of us to some of the Lord of the Rings sites. More interested in the sites of the Glenorchy Discovery of the Rings, but the more sites we can see the better so if its possible to include others that would be fantastic. We don't require a lunch break. Could you let me know how much it would cost? We would be looking at 19th January.

We were also curious about how easy it would be to go to the site of Fangorn forest filming too. Is that too far away?

Kind regards,
Adriana

RE: Wakatipu LOTR tour
Is the short trip down Skipper's Canyon the cliff drive? My wife is afraid of heights and, if it is, anyway she can avoid that portion of the tour?

Comments

Hey Chris, The cliff drive is only a very short portion of the tour they stay on that part about 15 minutes. The only way they would be able to avoid that part of the tour is if you booked it out as a charter, of course if there are other guests they will have to do the full tour including the cliff drive
