Service rating:   bad

The worst service I have ever had

Product rating:   bad

Nothing was as advertised. Too many people; poor food; a guide who knew little and cared less. I would not recommend your service to my worst enemy.

Hi Roger. I'm so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your 3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin tour with Way Outback. Way Outback have a great reputation in the industry which is why we have chosen to list their tours on our website, so your comments are surprising yet extremely concerning. We take customer feedback very seriously so I have contacted the manager of Way Outback requesting a detailed explanation of why one of our valued customers had such a terrible experience on one of their iconic tours. Once I hear back from them I will contact you via email with their comments and any explanation.
On a side note, it does appear that you may have accidentally given the Everything Travel Group (whom you booked this tour through) a bad service rating when it appears you were actually referring to the bad service you received on your 3 day tour from the actual tour operator.
Thank you again for taking the time to offer your comments. It is because of customers like yourself providing invaluable feedback that allows tour operators to continue to improve their level of service and helps us ensure we only offer the best tours and experiences on our travel websites.

Latest Questions about Horse Riding - Hare Hill Horse Treks (Dunedin)

where do you leave from

Comments

Hi Joyce. The Hare Hill horse rides depart from the stables in Deborah Hill which is about 20 minutes drive out of Dunedin. You can drive yourself, catch the city bus to Port Chalmers where you will be picked up or for $25 the horse trek staff will pick you up from Dunedin city.

Hi! I will be in Dunedin on the 7&8 June. 4 of us are very interested to take the Beach horseback riding.

there are two slots, morning and afternoon. I would like to know what are their timings? And which is more suitable to see the sea life there?

How is the booking done?

Comments

Hi Maryam at that time of year the ideal time to be starting the ride is at 10am on either the 7th or 8th of June as high tide is at 11.45am and 12.40pm on those days. In terms of seeing wildlife, almost every ride this year has seen sea lions and seals on their rides and it is most likely that you would see these too however penguins tend to go out to sea during the day and are only visible at sunrise/sunset but unfortunately the tide is not right to be riding then on your days. Please not there is a maximum of 2 people per ride so you would need to split your group of 4 over two rides. If you would like to book just click on the following link Hare Hill Horse Treks and follow the prompts. Once you've entered all your details your credit card will be charged and then once we have received the order here we will send you back an electronic ticket confirming your booking with all the relevant details on it.
