The Lakeland Jet Boat in Wanaka certainly makes the most of a spectacularly perfect racing river. Now you have the chance to explore the mighty Clutha River for yourself, with Lakeland Wanaka.

Enjoy an 'all out' jet boating experience along the Clutha River for 1 hour. Boarding from the water front at Lake Wanaka, you will be taken on the fifteen minute scenic trip along Lake Wanaka (complete with commentary), before entering the infamous Clutha River. Once there, you can soak up the sun (or laugh in the rain, if it's wet), enjoy the gorgeous riverside vistas, try to spot some of the mammoth-sized trout that lurk within the deep, cool pools – and – you can experience the thrills of a New Zealand jet boat experience, with some high speeds! As your friendly and informative driver powers through rapids and huge pressure waves, spins, twirls and skims over barely-submerged rocks and sandbars, you will be floored by the amazing agility of this boat! You will even stop for some scenic photos and trout spotting.

Regardless of whether you want speed and thrills, or scenes and relaxation, the amazing Clutha will leave you awe inspired. This river is the swiftest and second largest in New Zealand at 338kms, and is known for its beautiful turquoise water, that is hemmed in by magnificent scenery and buzzing with wildlife.
