A visit to Milford Sound is absolutely essential for anyone who visits New Zealand. Other than flying to and from Milford Sound to enjoy the jaw-dropping sights from above, cruises to Milford Sound are also a favourite way to view the glacier and its surrounds in an intimate fashion.
