Sorry to hear about your year. People with ear problems from scuba diving can also have issues equalising when skydiving. It's not normally as bad as the pressure isn't usually as great as underwater but it may pay to check with your doctor or physician first to ensure you are ok to skydive in Taupo. If you are still unsure then you could opt for a lower altitude skydive as the pressure wont be as high on your ears. (ie. don't go for the 15000ft jump)
