Service rating:

The core activity was good. However there was a lot of doubling-up on required infomation from the online booking... to the consent/sign-in process. Systems need streamlining.
The facilities and services during extended wait times for video footage was slow, with 'out of order' drinks machine, There should be facilities for making a simple cofee or something whilst you wait. To be honest it all seems a bit rushed/forced.
This could potentially lead to error. BBQ, coffee, drinks. Ground staff, Service in NZ is poor. Seems that there is a minimum level and this is maitain in attitude over dare I say, all business in this country.

Product rating:

The tandem staff are well versed and professional, they are great at working with the clients, making that point of difference that keep people either coming back for repeat business or via recommendations.

Hi I am looking at booking a tandem Sky dive for my partner as a gift. It will be his first time doing it and was wondering if it is possible for him to do the 13,000ft jump?

Comments

Yes, first-time skydivers can choose any of the 3 jump heights to tandem skydive in Auckland. You can choose to self-drive to Parakai or get free transfers from central Auckland.

Am I allowed to use my own GoPro when skydiving?

Comments

Go pros are not allowed to be used at the Auckland skydive dropzone or any other commercial skydive locations around New Zealand unfortunately as you need to be a trained skydiver to be able to use them safely during freefall. They can pose a risk to you, your jump master and people on the ground if they were to come lose and fall. Also, the footage you would get if you filmed yourself would be pretty rubbish compared to what a trained skydive photographer can do for you.

Hi there
I just wondering if I book 2:00pm for skydiving, and we need the pick up service from central Auckland. Then what time we need to arrive at the bus pick up stop?

Comments

If you require transfers from town for the Auckland skydive then you must book the 9am departure which means you will be picked up from outside the Sky Tower at 9am and dropped back to town by 1pm. If you would like to skydive in the afternoon then you will need to drive yourself to Parakai which is about an hour north of the city.

What are the hours tandem skydiving is available? Also, how long does everything take?

Comments

Hi Sarah, if you are driving yourself out to the Skydive Auckland drop zone then you can skydive between the hours of 9am-3pm. If you do drive yourself then you will need to allow 2 hours to complete your skydive. If you need transfers from Auckland then there is a shuttle that leaves at 9am and you will need to allow 4 hours for the experience.

How long the skydive take to complete start to finish??

Comment by: Sarina on 13th Sep 15 at 18:29

If you require the free return transfers from central Auckland then the entire trip takes 4 hours (pick up at 9am and return by 1pm). It is 1 hour each way to the skydive drop zone and you spend about 2 hours on site getting ready for and doing your tandem skydive.
