Combine thrills and skills on this adrenaline-filled combo at Oxbow Adventure Co. Level up your Queenstown jet boat experience on a unique jet sprint boat ride. Oxbow's jet sprint boats can accelerate from 0 to 100kms in only 2.5 seconds and are the only 4-seater commercial jet sprint boats in the world! Complete 3 laps of the purpose built course and experience the awesome feeling of G Force. After screaming your heart out on a jet sprint boat, it's time for some Clay Target Shooting - welcome to the Oxbow Gun Club! Enjoy one-on-one guidance from the experienced instructors and get some friendly competition going between your friends. Suitable for all levels of shooting experience.

  • Allow 1.5 - 2 hours for the whole experience

  • Regular departures from 10am-4pm (winter) & 9am-5pm (summer)
  • Self drive to 2696 Gibbston Highway, Queenstown, NZ (30mins from Queenstown)
  • Operates daily all year
Additional Information
  • Minimum height for the Jet Sprint Boat is 1.2 metres (3.9ft)
  • Child rate applies to 15 years and under 
  • Minimum age of 13 years old recommended for the Clay Bird Shooting based on weight & height to manage the firearm safely by themselves under close supervision
  • Maximum of 6 shooters per clay bird shooting session
  • The clay bird shooting stand has safety barriers in between each shooter for safety 
  • Bookings are confirmed for 2 people, if you are a solo traveller you can still book on request
  • Wear comfortable clothing & enclosed shoes, overalls & protective gear are provided for activities where needed
  • Expect to get a little wet on the Jet Sprint Boat 
  • No need to bring a change of clothing, outerwear is provided
  • Not suitable for pregnant women
  • Children aged 13-15 can travel unaccompanied as long as a parent or guardian is on-site
  • Parental/Guardian consent required for those under 16 years of age
  • Neck and back injuries are on a case by case basis, so please let us know at time of booking
