What you can expect
A trip to Queenstown is incomplete without visiting the breathtakingly beautiful village of Glenorchy. On this half day scenic tour your local, knowledgeable guide will take you to the top spots in Glenorchy for a real insiders tour.
Sit back in a premium Mercedes van with onboard videos and enjoy the scenery on the 45 minute drive, alongside Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown to Glenorchy, with plenty of photos stops along the way. Not to mention, it is one of the most scenic roads in NZ!
Once you arrive in Glenorchy you will be captivated by the surrounding mountain ranges and luscious native beech forests which encapsulate the quaint village. Your guide will provide you with information about the local area and the fascinating MÄori history. From there you will head to Paradise/Diamond Lake to explore even more amazing scenery, the photo opportunities really are endless!
If you are a Lord of the Rings fan you'll be pleased to know that included is a stop off at a beautiful bush location used during the filming of the movies! Even if you aren't a fan you'll be impressed!
And because we know how taxing travelling in gold-class and viewing amazing scenery is, your tour will be topped off with a scrumptious kiwi style morning or afternoon tea and a back drop to die for!

You will also drive past the Glenorchy lagoon walkway on the way out to Paradise, but there is no stop here.
