On this 2 hour tour, you will get to know Queenstown on your very own Segway. You’ll pick up the basics with the help of a brief instructional session, and very soon you’ll be loving the very special sensation of riding on a Segway.
Explore some of Queenstown’s favourite sights and locations as your friendly and knowledgeable Segway on Q guide entertains you with stories and shares information on your journey. You will soak in incredible views of the surrounding lakes and mountains as you navigate this beautiful natural environment on your Segway. You’ll even leave town for a while and climb one or two hills before embarking on a cruise that takes you through the idyllic Queenstown Gardens.
As you return to base, you may want to experiment with speed settings on your Segway, travelling at a higher speed if you’d like to truly experience the wonder of this environmentally friendly invention.

- Does Segway Queenstown have a minimum age for kids? The minimum age for Segway on Q is approx 10 years or 35kgs.
- Is there a weight limit for Segway Queenstown? Segway Queenstown has an upper weight limit of 118kg and a lower weight restriction of 35kgs.
- Trip includes approx 15 minutes training time
- Standard capacity is 8 customers per tour
- Weight range is 35-120kgs (approx ages 10yrs+)

- The One Mile Powerhouse Car Park is located 1 min drive or 10 min walk from town. At the end of Lake Esplanade, you come to a roundabout with 3 major exits and a dirt road exit. The dirt road exit has a sign to indicate the One Mile Powerhouse. Go up the road into the car park area to meet your guide who will be there 5 mins before your booking time. In Google maps enter ‘Ben Lomond Track Trailhead’
