After meeting your pilot at the Over The Top base in Queenstown Airport, settle in onboard the custom black helicopter ready for a completely unique helicopter experience. The Milford Sound and Glacier helicopter tour begins with a 30 minute flight over the Southern Alps towards Milford Sound. Gaze down at the rushing waterfalls and snow-capped peaks surrounding this spectacular inlet from the Tasman Sea. Milford Sound is affectionately known in New Zealand as the unofficial eighth wonder of the world and with a view from onboard your Over The Top helicopter, you are sure to understand why.

From Milford Sound, your Over The Top helicopter pilot flies north towards the three glaciers, each of which sits at 6000ft above sea level. Don’t forget your camera as you won’t be able to resist capturing the magic of this untouched alpine environment from your window. Included on your Milford Sound and Glacier tour with Over The Top is an incredible alpine landing next to one of the glaciers or in another beautiful alpine location, so you can get a feel for the scenery that you have admired from above.
