




A real adventure exploring the unique alpine landscapes of the Southern Alps on a full-day tour travelling from Queenstown through Mackenzie Country and into Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, home to snow-capped mountains, impressive glaciers and New Zealand’s highest peak, Aoraki Mt Cook (‘Cloud Piercer’).
The tour starts from your Queenstown accommodation where you will be picked up by a premium vehicle. Travel in comfort and style in a Mercedes van fully equipped with panoramic windows for superior viewing with complimentary wifi so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.
First stop is the ‘Fruit Bowl of the South’ aka Cromwell a short visit seeing its large fruit sculptures. Along the journey, you will also see the Canterbury Plains, Geraldine, and drive through dramatic Lindis Pass. After a brief stop in the quaint village of Omarama to get a snack or food to takeaway for lunch in Mt Cook we’ll make our way along Lake Pukaki’s bright turquoise waters before entering Aokari Mount Cook National Park.
On arrival, the choice is yours! Experience add-ons include a 2.75-hour Glacier Explorers boat tour; 25-minute Tasman Taster helicopter flight with glacier landing ; 45-minute Ultimate Alpine Experience (combining a ski plane and helicopter flight with glacier landing).

The return trip to Queenstown includes stopping at High Country Salmon Farm in Twizel for fish feeding (if time allows) and a brief stop in Omarama to get afternoon tea or refreshments.
Altitude Mt Cook tours are limited to a maximum of 16 passengers, ensuring small groups receive the best New Zealand hospitality, have lots of fun, and enjoy their time. Lots of informative commentary from your local guide and plenty of off-the-beaten-track visits away from the crowds.
