What you can expect
Today your pilot chooses your scenic adventure! Experience views of majestic Queenstown as you perch on rugged mountain terrain, you may even be standing on snow in the winter. Don’t forget your camera as these views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu are not to be missed. * Please note: This product is on request. We will confirm availability within the shortest possible time after we receive your order. * Minimum numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible.

- This experience takes approximately 25 minutes, including the alpine landing.
- Departs and returns from The Helicopter Line Base, Lucas Place, Queenstown, New Zealand.
- Is it possible to land on snow in the month of May on the Pilot's Choice Helicopter Flight in Queenstown? Whilst there is often snow around Queenstown in May, we can not guarantee that you will land on Snow during this flight in Queenstown. If you are looking for guarantee you could look at a Glacier Landing.
- How many people are allowed in the helicopter at the one time on the Pilot's Choice flight in Queenstown? You can fit a maximum of 6 passengers in a the Pilot's Choice Queenstown helicopter flight, pending weights, this number may be reduced to 5 or 4 depending on the weight of each passenger. If you have a large group we can still carry you all at the same time and location with 2 helicopters split over the group.
- For the Pilot's Choice heli ride, does it require that a certain number of people be flying? As I'm interested but I'll be on my own. Flights do require minimum numbers to run, so just let us know when you want to fly and we can check for a confirmed trip for you which will enable you to travel with other passengers and get out on this awesome experience!
- Your flight is subject to favourable weather conditions; if cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
- We recommend booking your flights early in your trip with flexibility for weather changes
- Confirmation will be received within 48-hours of booking, subject to availability
- Flights, landings and routes may vary due to weather and at the pilot’s discretion. Flight times are approximate and include your landing
- Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible
- The price includes landing and concession fees as our flights land in conservation areas and special locations
- Drones, iPads or selfie sticks are not allowed on board for safety
- Your flight is subject to favourable weather conditions; if cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
- We recommend booking your flights early in your trip with flexibility for weather changes. We don’t want you to miss out!
- Booking online does not charge your credit card. Credit card details are only required to guarantee your booking.
- Should you fail to check-in on time, or notify us of changes less than 24-hours prior to departure, your credit card will be debited with the total amount of the booked activity.
