Soar up to 200 metres (600 feet) above the shimmering blue waters of Lake Wakatipu, suspended beneath a colourful parachute and connected to a custom-built vessel below, as you take in panoramic views of scenic Queenstown and the surrounding mountains. With state-of-the-art parasailing equipment, experienced guides and a friendly expert team to guide you through every step.
Queenstown Paraflights offers a safe and comfortable experience for first-time flyers and seasoned thrill-seekers alike. Departing from central Queenstown, this ten to twelve minute flight is a must-do activity in the adventure capital of the world, delivering unbelievable photo opportunities and a unique bird’s eye view you will never forget.

- Operates daily all year
- Can you do the Queenstown parasailing as a tandem? If you would like to do the Queenstown parasailing as a couple or with friends, we recommend booking the tandem or triple flight options.
- You must wear suitable footwear that will not fall off in the air
- Maximum weight for solo is 160kgs, Minimum weight is 65kgs (this can vary depending on the weather)
- Maximum combined weight for tadem and triple is 210kgs
- Children under 12 will need to fly with an adult and must weigh a minimum of 20kg
- Dress for the weather, remembering it can be cold in winter when you are being towed 200m in the air behind a boat (jackets, hats & gloves recommended)
- You won't get wet on this experience. Fly high, stay dry!
- Spectators are welcome (additional cost on the day & subject to availability)
- Great for the family and those wanting to see Queenstown from the air
