Half Day Routeburn Guided Walk After being picked up at your central Queenstown accommodation, you will drive along the Queenstown-Glenorchy Road with magnificent views across Lake Wakatipu. Once you reach the Routeburn Shelter, you will embark on an easy half-day walk that starts in luxuriant native beech forest. Experience the astonishing richness of native flora and fauna combined with stunning views of lakes and mountains across the Routeburn River. Spot native bird species and listen to their calls on the periphery of the forest. There are also plenty of waterfalls to admire along the way, which provide idyllic rest stops!
