Famous Routeburn Walk This full day tour will take you to the ancient native beech forests situated in the magnificent Mt Aspiring National Park. The walk begins with a scenic drive along the Northern shores of Lake Wakatipu and deep into the Routeburn Valley. You will then embark on your walk up the river valley, which is framed by stunning snow capped mountain peaks.
Walking time: 3 to 5 hours (depending on your fitness) Walking distance: 13km (8 miles) Track: Well formed easy/ moderate walking track
Highlights: Spectacular snow-capped mountain and lake views, a variety of birdlife and super-natural ancient native beech forest, mosses, lichens and ferns, waterfalls and river gorge.

Very professional tour, lovely guides and friendly atmosphere. The forest was absolutely beautiful. The weather was rather unpleasant but it was a good day overall!
This is the best tour we never been b4 The tour guide have huge knowledge about the rainforest. Only 3 of us on the tour but we not feel bored. My children love it Will go again next time
