For a memorable experience during your trip to Queenstown make sure you dine at the Stratosfare restaurant amidst breathtaking views at the top of the Skyline.

Whilst dining you can enjoy spectacular views from as far as Coronet Peak to the magnificent Remarkables and over to Cecil Peak and Walter Peak just the other side of Lake Wakatipu.

Your tastebuds will be dancing as you devour a sumptuous six course buffet in a laid back environment, perfect for couples, families and groups. The seating layout has an ingenious tiered design allowing up to 320 people to enjoy unobstructed views of the amazing scenery through floor to ceiling windows.

Top off your dining experience with the option of 3 or 5 exciting luge rides.

Duration
  • Allow as much time as you want (Gondola closes at around 10 pm)
Departure Location
  • 12:30 am, 12:45 pm, 1:00 pm & 1:15 pm
  • Meet at the base of the gondola building at least 30 minutes before your dining time. You can go up as early as you like to enjoy the views & grab a drink before your meal
  • Operates Saturday & Sunday all year
Additional Information
  • Child (6-14yrs) & Pre-Schooler (2-5yrs) rates apply
  • Infants 0-1yrs travel free of charge - please advise upon booking
  • There is free parking at the Gondola base
  • Luge rides operate at the top of the gondola during daylight hours
  • Advanced bookings are advised as this restaurant is very popular
  • The Skyline Gondola is open Christmas Day & New Year's Eve. There is a special lunch & dinner available on Christmas Day & a special New Year's Eve dinner available on the 31st December.
