What you can expect

Enjoy a one hour scenic flight from Queenstown to Mount Cook/Aoraki and take in the incredible landscape of valleys, breathtaking lakes and the highest mountains in New Zealand. Once you arrive in Mount Cook it's time to jump in the helicopter for a heli hike adventure in Mount Cook National Park. You will fly from the Mount Cook airport over the Tasman Glacier to a location 3000m above sea level before landing on the glacier and exploring the icy terrain on a two hour hike. Feeling like you are in another world your experienced guide will show you the way before returning back to Queenstown by plane. On the return flight you will fly by the 1000 metre high Hochstetter Icefall on the eastern face of Aoraki/Mt Cook.
