Rotorua Clay Target Shooting

Come and try your hand at clay bird shooting at Adventure Playground's custom built clay bird shooting location, nestled in beautiful native bush in Rotorua. There is a clay bird shooting experience for everyone, whether you are a first timer or an experienced shooter. You'll be guided by a fully licensed instructor as you master the art of clay target shooting all the while being confined by the stunning views of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and the city of Rotorua. You won't beat this incredible location! There is a well stocked armory consisting of 12 gauge 'under and over,' pump action or semi auto shotguns to cater to all shooting abilities.  

Get Started (25+ shells) If you are new to clay bird shooting then the Get Started package is the option for you and you'll be shooting like a pro in no time. You'll be led through the basics including how to hold the shotgun, how to best stand, how to track and follow the target and how to shoot the clay from the sky. Safety and fun are paramount as you strive to become a master shooter! 

Semi Serious (50+ shells) If you are looking for a little more thrilling experience then opt for the Semi Serious, a clay bird shooting encounter at pace. Become one with your semi-automatic shotgun as you conquer single clays at a leisurely pace before the adrenaline starts pumping in an attempt to nail a fast paced stream of 5 clays. Claiming victory over this challenge is the ultimate achievement!

Semi Serious Not Addicted (75+ shells) If you're up for a challenge then the Semi Serious Not Addicted clay bird shooting event is for you. Armed with 75+ shells and a semi automatic shotgun you've got some serious shooting to do. The licensed instructors will test your skills with a number of challenging skill sets to really put your clay bird shooting skills through their paces. This challenge is most definitely the most popular, but be careful as your bound to be addicted by the end of this epic session. 

Semi Serious Addicted (100+ shells) If you start with any of the other packages you'll probably find yourself lining up for the Semi Serious Addicted package quick smart. This addictive sport, combined with the beauty of the ground setting, will have you lining back up for more and more. The Semi Serious Addicted package allows you to try all facets of Adventure Playgrounds shooting range. The licensed and experienced instructors will guide you through 100+ clays.
