This 30 minute Rotorua float plane flight with Volcanic Air provides aerial views of Rotorua's numerous volcanic craters, revealing the sheer power of the Mount Tarawera eruption in 1886. From above, you will feast your eyes on the scenic lakes district, capturing breathtaking aerial views of the Waimangu thermal Valley, including the vibrant Inferno Crater and Frying Pan Lake. The return journey treats you to panoramic views of the Whakarewarewa thermal reserve and a flyover of Rotorua city, before gracefully landing back on the waters of Lake Rotorua.
