This hosted outdoor experience blends artistry, light and Maori culture across a 1.5km trail. Journey through ten light-filled scenes inspired by nature and tradition, guided by the voice and music of local artist Maisey Rika. Wander from the vibrant, festival-like entrance into the tranquil valley, where geysers, bubbling mud and steaming vents are illuminated in a spectrum of light. Along the way, learn about the cultural and geological significance of Te Puia’s geothermal features, including the powerful Pohutu Geyser – the largest in the southern hemisphere.
