Grab your bike from the team at Electric Bike Rotorua and jump on one of the in-forest daily public shuttle buses (additional cost). This gets you to the higher reaches of the forest, where you will find a variety of mountain bike trails ready to explore. Whether you are an occasional weekend warrior or a pro-level downhill racer, there is a Redwoods Forest trail to suit any level when hiring with Electric Bike Rotorua.

Make a reservation for your full-suspension e-bike hire in advance to ensure a great day of mountain biking with Electric Bike Rotorua. Each hire also includes a helmet.

Additional Information
  • All bikes must be returned by 5pm
  • Full suspension e-bikes are suitable for all levels, including technical trails (full suspension Whyte model)
  • Whakarewarewa Forest is suitable for all bike riders
  • Minimum height 145cm due to the size of the bikes
  • Riders under 18yrs must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • You must be able to ride a bike comfortably
  • Please wear closed in footwear, shorts & a couple of layers on your top half
  • Please bring your Photo ID and a valid credit or debit card, riders must be able to present a valid form of legal identification
  • Bring water & snacks to carry with you while riding
