This Rotorua spa experience includes access to five naturally heated pools (36°C - 41°C), enriched with minerals from the Priest Spring and Rachel Spring. The four alkaline pools help to soften the skin, while the single acidic pool is known for its muscle-relaxing properties.
For those seeking the benefits of hydrotherapy, a cold plunge pool is also available to encourage circulation and detoxification. Between soaks, guests can unwind on the geothermally heated recliners or visit the large indoor lounge, which provides a peaceful retreat with lake and garden views.
The Deluxe Lake Spa combines premium facilities with a family-friendly environment. Children are welcome, provided a quiet atmosphere is maintained for the comfort of all guests.

- Operates daily all year
- Children under 8yrs must be actively supervised by an adult (16yrs+). No jumping or diving is allowed in this pool area
- Infants under 2yrs enter free (swimming nappies required)
- Swimwear is available to hire or purchase on site
- Changing areas include towels, toiletries, hairdryers & secure lockers
- Polynesian Spa is cashless, card payment required for any purchases on the day
- Please shower before entering the pools
- Mineral water may tarnish jewellery, we recommend removing jewellery before entering the pools
- No food or drink is permitted in the pools (licensed cafe available on-site)
- For direct pool bookings (public or private), you can reschedule your booking up to three months ahead if you let us know at least 12 hours before your scheduled time
- We do not provide refunds, and changes requested with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable
- For Retreat Day Spa therapies, a minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change a booking for a full refund
- Cancellations or changes with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
