This popular Rotorua swimming pool for families features one large 33°C freshwater pool, complete with a shallow section, deeper end and a small hydro slide for added fun. Alongside the main pool, families can unwind in two Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools, heated to 37°C and 40°C.

Designed with both parents and children in mind, these family hot pools in Rotorua include full lifeguard supervision and easy access to the 88RA cafe, offering a selection of gelato, fresh meals and drinks (additional cost). Recommended time in the pool is 1–2 hours, with towels and swimwear available for hire or purchase.

Additional Information
  • Children under 5yrs enter free (babies are required to wear swimming nappies)
  • Children under 8yrs must be actively supervised by an adult (16yrs+)
  • Please bring swimwear, towel and a change of clothes
  • Swimwear is available to hire or purchase on site
  • Polynesian Spa is cashless, card payment required for any purchases on the day
  • Please note wait times of 30–60 minutes may apply during busy periods due to capacity limits. Families are welcome to relax in the café while waiting
Cancellation Policy
  • For direct pool bookings (public or private), you can reschedule your booking up to three months ahead if you let us know at least 12 hours before your scheduled time
  • We do not provide refunds, and changes requested with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • For Retreat Day Spa therapies, a minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change a booking for a full refund
  • Cancellations or changes with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
