What you can expect
Prepare for some original splashing, rolling fun, with a downhill ball rolling experience in Rotorua that will take you on an amazing ride inside a water-filled ball. Take one part hollow ball, one part water, and one part individual or friends, mix them together, throw them down a hill and you've got downhill ball riding - a truly unique and popular activity suitable for the whole family. Choose from a number of different "styles" of ride including standard straight, curving sidewinder or our steepest and fastest track; the mega track. Water in the balls is kept warm in cooler periods, so you don't have to fret about any unnecessary chills too! Cap it off with some relaxing in the hot spa facilities, and you've got some of the wettest fun to be had on land in the Rotorua region. Good for adults and kids alike, if you're looking for a Rotorua activity that takes a break from all the standard geothermal and historical attractions, don't miss the chance for some crazy, splashy

What you need to know
- Downhill ball roll on your chosen track (maximum of 3 people per zorb)
- You can hire togs, a towel and a T shirt for an additional cost of $12 per person
- Hot tubs available to relax in after your ride
- Allow 1 hour
- Every hour during daylight hours (9am-5pm)
- Make your own way to the Zorb base located at 525 Ngongotaha Road, Rotorua
- Operates daily all year, excluding Christmas Day
- Is there a family Rotorua Zorb deal we can buy online? Unfortunately, the operator does not offer a family deal. But the Rotorua Zorb experience is one of the most affordable adventure experiences in New Zealand.
- Maximum of 3 people per zorb
- Maximum weight solo is 135 kgs
- Minimum age is 5 years old
- All zorb balls have approx 40 litres of water in them (cool water in summer & warm water in winter)
- The ZORB Rotorua site is a 5 minutes drive North of Rotorua City Centre. Next to Skyline Rotorua, Rainbow Springs and Mitai Maori Village
- Operates in all weather conditions & perfect on a rainy day
- Bring swimwear, a change of clothes & a towel or hire there for an additional $12 per person
- You are welcome to bring your own GoPro or waterproof camera inside the zorb with you
- The Sidewinder & Straight Track combo cannot be split between people (per person price)
- You are unable to participate if you have any of the following conditions; high blood pressure, epilepsy, if your pregnant, heart conditions or if you have any back, neck or head injuries.
