Just a few minutes from the centre of Wanaka, this 3-hour adventure is ideal for anyone keen to get out on the water and enjoy a genuine local experience.

Your skipper will take you across the calm waters of Lake Wanaka, framed by Roys Peak, Treble Cone and Mount Aspiring. Using a combination of trolling and downriggers, you’ll target wild brown and rainbow trout, and during the right season, salmon too. The boat’s quiet, electric trolling motor ensures a smooth and peaceful ride, giving you the best chance of spotting and hooking active fish.

With expert local knowledge, beautiful surroundings, and a great chance of landing a trout or salmon, the Lake Wanaka Fishing Adventure is an easy and rewarding way to enjoy the region’s freshwater fishing scene.

Very nice skipper with great local knowledge, Boat far too small for 4 guests + skipper I would have expected a hot drink but not even a water Whilst I don't criticize the lack of fish, as this is a slack time of year, I did spend 3 hours fishing without even touching a fishing rod. Overall, far too expensive for what you get
