Island Escape Tour - Full Day
This trip includes the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and free time to explore the bay. Your day will start with a ferry ride to Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island. Here you can join the morning or afternoon 3 hour guided kayaking tour of the amazing coastline and scenery. You are already out in the islands, so it doesn't require much paddling to get to breathtaking locations. You will have time to swim, snorkel and take in the impressive views on the island stop. You are in control here so you can choose the ferry times in order to give yourself as much free time as you wish at Otehei Bay and on the rest of the island. The hardest part of your day will be deciding when to head back!
Island Time Tour- Full Day
You will be collected from your accommodation to head to the ferry over to Okaito, you can then sit back and enjoy a scenic drive along the Rusell Peninsula to the starting location of your tour. With over 100 islands in total, the tour is flexible and your guide will take you to the best spots on the day. You will visit multiple islands on this tour where you can go for a stroll, relax on the beach, snorkel on the shores or soak up the sun while you enjoy the fresh picnic lunch. You will get to explore cliffs and caves and should come across some impressive marine life.
Haruru Falls Tour - Half Day
Get close to the famous Haruru Falls on this sea kayak tour. Haruru stands for "big noise" and it certainly lives up to its name when you are feeling the power of them from underneath. The journey starts by heading up the river to explore the mangrove forests. The river is full of history and is a haven for birdlife, which can be spotted nesting. Once at the falls, the most adventurous can take the plunge under them, before grabbing a few snaps and then heading back down stream.
