Perfect for both thrill seekers and first time rafters, this rafting tour has you exploring the warm waters of the Kaituna River with experienced and entertaining guides, including 14 exhilarating rapids and the mighty 7 metre Tutea Falls along the way.

The Kaituna River is renowned for its beautiful scenery, abundance of native wildlife and as an epic playground for white water rafting and kayaking. The 7 metre Tutea Falls is in fact the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world! 

For your Grade 5 white water rafting experience near Rotorua, you are in safe hands with the professional rafting guides at Kaituna Cascades. From start to finish, the team provide comprehensive and fun training so you can tackle rapids and waterfalls on the Kaituna River like a boss! Each raft is custom made for taking on waterfalls, and you will soon be working seamlessly with your group to paddle, turn and navigate the Okere, Kaituna and 7m Tutea Falls. Other Information

• This is an exciting grade 5 rafting experience and is NOT suited for people that aren't comfortable in the water. The very maximum weight limit is 120kgs (not recommended)
• We recommend self driving to the Kaituna Cascades river base, but a complimentary shuttle is also available from Rotorua
• Please bring your swimwear & a towel
• GoPros are permitted on the river provided you are wearing a chest harness
• Minimum age 13yrs+
• Maximum weight limit is 120kg
• Participants MUST have a good level of fitness
• This tour is not suitable for pregnant women
• No minimum numbers required
