Hi we are 2 families traveling from Australia touring nz in vans and will be in kaikoura on the 31 December . Would like to book but not sure if all the kids would snorkel with seals. Can we tentatively book for a few of us on the 31dec and or 1 jan?
How long are we actually in the water snorkelling? And, can I bring my underwater camera with me?

The seal swimming tour in Kaikoura spends about 1 hour in the water actually swimming with the seals. Tours operate daily during the summer (October - April).
