Easy purchase which included pick-up and drop off. The price for the pictures was reasonable.

What you can expect

Picture yourself 67 metres (200 feet) above the water, atop one of the grandest structures in New Zealand's north. Gazing down, you witness the buzz and beauty of one of the most enchanting cities in the world – this is the Auckland Harbour Bridge climb.

Built in 1959, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is truly iconic. The bridge spans the Waitemata Harbour, connecting St Marys Bay in Auckland with Northcote in the former North Shore city.

The Auckland Harbour Bridge climb is brought to you by AJ Hackett Bungy, and is the only opportunity for you to do a bridge climb in all of New Zealand! The one and a half hour tour will captivate you, with the history and secrets of this amazing structure being revealed by your tour guide. You are securely tethered at all times, ensuring your safety and the gently curving custom engineered walkways mean that the climb is enjoyable for everybody.

During the climb, you will witness the amazing dynamics of the bridge as it flexes with the traffic above it. You also have the chance to witness the Bungy jumpers at the ‘Pod’, a securely suspended bungy jumping launch pad – you may even be inspired to try the Bungy yourself! When you reach the summit, you will be awestruck by the beauty of Auckland – the ‘City of Sails’ – and as you gaze across 360° views of New Zealand’s largest urban area, you will realize why the Auckland Harbour Bridge climb is considered a New Zealand ‘must-do’. The glittery bay always looks spectacular against the backdrop of the city, and the horizon evokes a feeling of total reverence.

Discovering Auckland city is amazing and the Harbour Bridge climb is the best way to do it. This is considered one of the best bridge climbs in the world.
