Your Glacier Highlights scenic flight begins with checking in and meeting your friendly and experienced pilot at Mount Cook airport. Once finding your seat on the ski plane, it’s time to take off and start your journey of awe-inspiring views over the Southern Alps. Look out for ‘Aoraki’/Mount Cook and explore the peaks before descending for your landing on top of New Zealand’s largest glacier, the Tasman Glacier. 

Landing in a secluded alpine location in Mount Cook National Park is an experience like no other. Soak in the silence and take incredible photos of Tasman Glacier with your ski plane in the background. After getting your fill of this alpine wonderland, climb on board for the return flight to Mount Cook airport.
