Your day of backcountry skiing begins with boarding a ski plane at Aoraki Mt Cook Airport. Mount Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters by INFLITE are the only ski plane operators in New Zealand, making this Ski the Tasman experience even more special. Soar over spectacular Mt Cook scenery before glimpsing the Tasman Glacier from above, your playground for the day. 

Ski the Tasman includes 2 runs from different landing points, each offering moderate ski terrain and an easy-going pace. With routes personalised to suit your group’s ability, take the chance to explore the Tasman’s beautiful ice caves and features with your experienced ski guide.   • Third runs available on the day depending on weather conditions
