Your friendly guide will lead the way, sharing stories about the area’s rich history, unique wildlife, and natural wonders, ensuring an educational and immersive experience. Suitable for children aged five and older, this Moke Lake horse riding trek provides an ideal introduction to horse riding in a safe, accessible environment.

What you need to know
- 45 minute Horse Trek
- Helmets and jackets provided if required
- Expert knowledgeable guides
- Please allow 2 hours (include self-drive from Queenstown)
- 3pm departure
- Departs from Moke Lake (25 minutes drive from Queenstown)
- Operates in summer only (Oct-May)
- Self drive required (Queenstown is 25 minutes from Moke Lake)
- Minimum age is 5 years old
- Maximum weight limit of 100kgs
- Please wear long comfortable pants, covered footwear, sunscreen/insect repellent and water bottle
- Cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours prior to the date of travel will incur a 50% cancellation fee
- All customers must be able to understand and speak English
- This experience has an age minimum of 5 years old
- All children 16 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Max weight 95kg (we are no longer accepting 100kg).
- For the safety of all involved, all clients must understand and be able to communicate in English for the entire duration of any activity as a safety requirements

Not only this, the staff were amazing, and although I’m an experienced rider we had mixed abilities in our group. And they made everyone feel so comfortable and were great as explaining everything.
