Jet Boat & Bike Ride Combo

Fiordland Jet have combined the Pure Wilderness jet boat tour with cycling on the Lake2Lake trail for a fun filled adventure in Te Anau. 

You will begin on the jet boat ride, travelling down the Upper Waiau River, lush with beech forest on either side and mountains in the backdrop. 360 spins are a plenty as your driver navigates the river, stopping to take in Lord of the Rings locations and to spot Rainbow and Brown Trout in the crystal clear waters. As the river opens into Lake Manapouri you will see one of the most impressive views of the Fiordland. Lose the sound of the roaring jet boat engine as your driver turns off the boat to experience the solitude and silence of the area as you look at Leaning Peak, the entrance to Doubtful Sound. 

Your guide will then take you ashore to step onto Fiordland National Park to explore the native bush. Discover interesting facts about the flora and fauna whilst exploring one of the largest protected areas in the world.

At the end of your jet boat trip, your bikes will be waiting for you at the boat ramp, ready to follow the Lake2Lake cycle trail back to Te Anau. The trail hugs the river's edge and is the perfect way to view the Fiordland whilst exercising! Stop for a picnic along the way (not provided) or take a dip in the lake to refresh! Hardtail bikes or E-Bikes are available.
