Amazing experience on the glacier. With 6 passengers, it was a bit squishy in the helicopter though. Realise they had to distribute the weight but would have been a better experience if one of us could have a window seat (we were both given middle seats). Would still recommend this to friends - was a thrilling experience

What you can expect
The Mountain Spectacular delivers exactly what its name promises. Flying over the spectacular Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier snowfields, you will see two of the most beautiful national parks in New Zealand, as well as scenic views of the Tasman Glacier and Mount Cook. With a landing at high altitude, you have the chance to step out onto the pristine white snow and breathe in the unbelievably fresh air.
From within the comfortable, roomy cabin of a European AS355 Twin Engine Squirrel, or an AS350 Squirrel helicopter, you will be awestruck at the view that unfolds below you as you gaze out at one of New Zealand's most famous landmarks. Fox and Franz josef Glacier are an amazing sight to behold from the air, but you will be even more amazed when you land on this phenomenal Glacier and take in its beauty up close!

The flight was fantastic even though we didn’t land
Great ride, the young guide was terrific and let us practically go at any speed we liked, saw a big croc loved the ride.
