What you can expect
Book the SkyJump and SkyWalk combo to experience the adrenaline of Auckland Sky Tower.
SkyJump The SkyJump is best described as ‘safe base jumping’, as you are securely attached to a wire that smoothly (but very quickly at first) brings you down the 192 metre distance to the landing platform. You can even invite your friends or family to view your jump (for no charge), so that you are greeted by a friendly face after your awesome achievement.
SkyWalk As you stroll around the Sky Tower pergola, you will hear the amazing history of its construction, as well as learn about the gorgeous City below. However, the 192 metre high SkyWalk still requires some intestinal fortitude, as you will be walking around the 1.2 metre wide walkway that surrounds the top of the tower, with no railing and nothing but air on either side! You can even join in the fun of hanging over the edge, but don’t worry – you will be securely harnessed to a railing above your head at all times. As long as you are fit enough to walk around the pergola (there is a Hand Gliding harness available for people with physical limitations), you can participate in SkyWalk.
With both SkyJump and SkyWalk, the views are phenomenal and totally unforgettable. You will have your photo snapped at points along the way too, so you will have a great moment to remind you that you conquered the tall, proud towering icon of Auckland.

- How long does the Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk Combo take? The full Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk Combo experience takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. This includes check-in, gearing up, safety briefings, and time for both activities.
- I have limited mobility—can I still do the Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk Combo? If you require a mobility aid like a cane, you may still be able to participate. For the SkyWalk, there's a special seated harness that allows you to complete the walk with assistance from your guide. This needs to be arranged in advance therefore please contact us. For the SkyJump, please note the landing has a gentle jolt—similar to stepping down from a desk. We recommend checking with your doctor if you have a back condition or injury.
- Can I buy a gift voucher for the Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk Combo? Absolutely! You can purchase an open-dated gift voucher. Just select "Gift this experience" during booking and personalise your message. The voucher will be emailed directly to you.
- Minimum age is 10 years old
- Minimum weight is 35kg (in strong winds the minimum is increased to 45kg) maximum weight is 122kg
- Operates all year
- Spectators can watch the SkyJump from below at the landing platform
- Wear comfortable clothing and lace up shoes
- SkyJump and SkyWalk are adventure activities with very low real risks but very high perceived risks
