This spectacular garden tour through Christchurch Botanic gardens will leave you breathless and in awe of nature’s beauty. The informative and fully guided shuttle tour over the course of one hour will give you a journey through 75 acres of New Zealand’s most exotic and gorgeous native plants.
The Botanic Gardens were established in 1863 and hold host to New Zealand’s most eclectic range of plants. The excellent location of the Gardens allows visitors to discover the natural beauty and history of the gardens; all while being surrounded by one of New Zealand’s central cities.
The charming electric-powered shuttle vehicle is a fantastic way to explore the flowing trails of the Botanic Gardens in Christchurch. Although the Botanic Gardens Tour is fully guided and the knowledge of the employees about their flora and fauna is second to none, you are welcome to leave and explore the gardens at any of the allocated check points.
Whether you would like to compare the Sub-Antarctic Daisies, or appreciate the Circular Rose garden which flourishes in this setting – or even crush a leaf between your fingers and take in the aroma nature has on offer – Christchurch’s Botanic Gardens has everything you desire out of nature.

- Hourly from 10am to 4pm (11am to 4pm in winter)
- Departs from behind the Peacock Fountain in Christchurch Botanic Gardens

- Each shuttle can carry up to 19 passengers (max 10 passengers per shuttle in winter)
- The electric & solar powered vehicles are environmentally friendly
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
