Skydiving Jetboat Heli Raft - Shotover Freefall Queenstown

Latest Questions about Skydiving Jetboat Heli Raft - Shotover Freefall (Queenstown)

we are a party of 3 and am interested in doing these 4 activities. Seems like a lot to do in one day. Could you please give me the breakdown of the day ie: how long each activity takes - thank you

Hi Karen. The Shotover Freefall combo in Queenstown fits really well into one day. It's made up of two half days. First you will do the tandem skydive with a check in at the skydive shop at 8.15am in town. You will be taken out to the skydive drop zone about 15 minutes out of town where you will have a safety briefing and then go up in the plane and jump. You will then be brought back into town by about 11.30am where you will have half an hour or so to grab some lunch before you need to check back in again at the Queenstown Combos counter in central Queenstown (just near the skydive shop) for your afternoon activities. You will firstly be taken out to the Shotover Jet base which is in Arthurs Point (10 minutes out of town) to do your 30 minute jet boat ride. After this you walk next door to the rafting base where you will get changed into your swimwear, wetsuit, booties etc and then taken to the heli pad just up the road. The helicopter will pick you up and take you on a short 5 minute roller coaster helicopter flight into Skippers Canyon where you will do your rafting for about 2 hours and end up back at the jet boat/rafting base in Arthur's Point. You will then have an opportunity to have a hot shower and change your clothes before you are taken back to town by about 5.15pm.
