Haast is located on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. The area is so remote and spectacular it has been given World Heritage status by UNESCO. Haast is just a 1 hour 45 minute drive from Wanaka and if your heading to Franz Josef and Fox Glacier it is just a short 1 hour 30 minute drive.
