Self Guided Hawea to Wanaka (30km riding)
Enjoy a fantastic personalised service from Wanaka Bike Tours as they drop you and your bike out at Lake Hawea and give you a fully informed debrief before starting your ride. Take it at your own pace as you ride from lake to lake and admire the incredible beauty of the landscape along the trail. You'll enjoy spectacular views along the river edge before reaching Double Black in Albert Town, a favourite locals café. Sit back and enjoy great coffee and delicious food (own expense) for your midway break before continuing along the edge of Lake Wanaka into town.
Self Guided Explore the Clutha (30km riding)
A local favourite! The moderate terrain with undulating phases creates for an interesting and scenic bike following the majestic Clutha River. Once again, suitable for all abilities, you will be impressed by the level of beauty right on Wanaka's doorstep. With transfers to the start of the Luggate Loop included, enjoy this river ride with scenic views overlooking the Clutha River, historic goldfields, farmland and the snow-capped Southern Alps. Complete the experience with a sumptuous lunch at the historic Luggate Pub to really make yourself content (lunch at your own expense).
Fitness Guideline: To enjoy this ride we suggest that you are comfortable with riding a bike and have a reasonable level of fitness. Ride time is 2 hours on an undulating trail with some up hill sections. It is also recommended that you have a reasonable level of fitness.

You certainly can get attachments for the bikes so your children can come along too. They offer bike trailers which are two seaters and can carry a maximum of 45 kg. They recommend for children over the age of 4 to use a 'tag a long' which allows the child to sit on a bike attached to the adult.
