The Kiwi Birdlife Park is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of New Zealand's unique birdlife. And as the only kiwi bird park in Queenstown, this is a truly immersive experience where you can get up close and personal with these fascinating creatures.

As you step into the park, you will be transported into a world of native flora and fauna. Explore the lush native forest trails (with the help of a map provided on entry), where you can spot a wide variety of bird species. If you join one of the daily conservation shows at the Kiwi Birdlife Park, knowledgeable guides can provide you with fascinating insights into the behavior and habitat of some of the park's fascinating residents.

Within the park, you will discover a custom-built Kiwi House - this is where the kiwis live! There are special Kiwi Encounters run throughout the day by the professional wildlife team, so come on in and enjoy this rare opportunity to see a kiwi. Remember that these birds are nocturnal, so while it's daytime out in the rest of the park, the Kiwi House will be dark as if it's nighttime - this is so that you can have the best possible viewing experience!

In addition to kiwis, the Kiwi Birdlife Park is also home to a diverse range of other native New Zealand wildlife. From the cheeky kea (the world's only alpine parrot) to the adorable tuatara (a living dinosaur), there is something for everyone to marvel at.

• Live Bird & Conservation Show is available daily at 11:00am & 3:00pm
• Filming & photography is not permitted inside the Kiwi House
• Public on-street parking is available nearby the park
• Last admission is half an hour before closing time (please note some animal exhibits may close up to 30 minutes before closing time)
