Latest Questions about Lake Cruises - TSS Earnslaw Steamship (Queenstown)

Hi, is there access and facilities for a wheelchair?

Comments

Hi Tim. There is wheel chair access to board the Earnslaw steamship in Queenstown as a ramp is used by all customers getting on and off the boat. You would however have to stay on the one level once on board the boat as there are stairs to get up and down the 3 different levels. There are not any wheel chair friendly toilets on board the boat unfortunately however there is a public toilet near Steamer Wharf where the boat departs from in Queenstown that is wheel chair accessible.

Thank you so much for your enquiry. Yes, there is an access ramp for wheelchairs on the TSS Earnslaw to get off at Walter Peak High Country Station.
