This thrilling experience takes you on a journey down the beautiful Te Awa Kairangi (the Hutt River), located just outside of Wellington in Upper Hutt.
Throughout the trip, you'll be surrounded by stunning scenery as you navigate the Grade 2 rapids, twists and turns of the river. The expert guides at Wellington Rafting will first teach you how to paddle, before taking you on a memorable journey downriver, with exciting small rapids and rock jumps along the way. You will also have the chance to stop for photos near one of the Hutt River's many waterfalls and, of course, there is always time for a quick dip if you fancy it!

- Transfers available for an additional cost from central Wellington or Upper Hutt train station, please contact us
- Please bring quick dry shorts/swimwear, synthetic shirt for warmth & sun protection, and sturdy footwear e.g. sandals with straps (no flip-flops)
- Bring a towel & warm clothes to change into after the trip
