Embark on a 2 hour journey through the stunning snow-covered landscapes of Queenstown, as you navigate the slopes on a state-of-the-art snowbike. These powerful machines combine the thrill of dirt biking with the excitement of snowboarding, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for adrenaline junkies and adventure seekers alike.

Starting at Robrosa Station in the Cardrona Valley, the expert guides at Snowmoto NZ will lead you through a variety of snowy terrains, from gentle slopes to challenging trails, ensuring that you get the most out of your snowbike adventure. Feel the rush of the wind against your face as you carve through the powder, mastering tight turns and jumps along the way.

Experienced Snowmoto instructors will provide you with all the necessary training to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride on your snowbike. We highly recommend having some prior motorcycle or snowmobile experience so that you are comfortable with operating a similar vehicle. However, snowbikes themselves have unique characteristics, so the team at Snowmoto will be on hand throughout to help you get the hang of it! Safety gear, including motorcycle helmets, is available to hire on the day for an additional cost if you do not have your own.

Trip Includes

• 2 hours of snowbike riding

• Backpack with necessary backcountry safety gear

Duration

• Allow 7 hours (approx 2 hours of riding)

Departures

• 7:30am (returns approx 2:00pm) or 11:00am (returns approx 5:30pm)
• Pick up from Frankton (near Queenstown airport)
• Operates in winter only (June - October)

Other Information

• Please bring: a helmet (moto style, no snowboarding/ski helmets), winter boots (snowmobile boots, snowboard boots, or Goretex moto boots with waterproof socks), goggles (2 pairs - low light lenses & sunny lens), gloves (2 pairs - thinner pair for riding in & thick/warm pair for when you need them most), warm under-layers, wool socks, waterproof/ski jacket, waterproof/ski pants, water bottle and lunch/snacks
• The following rental gear is available to hire on the day for an additional cost: Alpine Star Drystar Boots $40, Alpine Star Helmets $40, 100% Goggles $15, Jackets $30, Snowboard pants $30, Gloves - polar blast $15 or 100% moto, Alpine Star Neck Warmers to buy $40
• Some prior motorcycle experience is required (ability to use clutch, gears & brakes)
• Minimum age is 16yrs (under 18yrs can only ride with parental consent)
• Reasonable level of riding fitness required 
• Please inform us of any pre-existing medical injuries or conditions upon booking
• All snowbikes are single user 450cc bikes (no passengers)
• In the event of bad weather, you will be contacted on the day to reschedule your tour
• Cancellations made within 30 days prior to the date of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee
