Description
Queenstown has an endless supply of beautiful scenery, remarkable mountain ranges and crystal clear lakes, not mentioned the impressive wineries and Lord of the Rings filming locations! So getting out on a bike is the best way to explore, whether it's a full-day hire or half-day that you choose, you'll be pleasantly pedalling around Queenstown taking in the breathtaking sights.
Picking up the bikes is super convenient as you can arrange a time and place to collect your bikes, whether this is in the centre of town or at your accommodation. Here the friendly staff will provide you with maps, explain the equipment and answer any questions you may have before sending you on your way for your epic day.
Drop off at the end of the day just requires a quick message to inform Going Blue where they can pick up the bikes and gear from, which you can simply lock up somewhere for your convenience. If your legs decide to give up on you whilst out exploring, you can always get the shuttle back from anywhere in the region. This comes at a small fee, but can be added on at any time. To avoid any delays in your day, it's a good idea to plan the route you may take, so staff can estimate your return time.
There's a lot of ground to cover here in Queenstown, so you might like to hop on an electric bike which will see you through for the entire day. These bikes mean business as they are top of the range cross country front suspensions pedal-assisted bikes, making your riding experience as pleasurable as possible. Just a click of your left thumb kick starts this extra boost, so there's no previous experience necessary to ride an E-Bike. The bikes will reach a maximum of 32km/h, so thankfully you can't get too carried away.
Hiring with Going Blue guarantees the best biking experience with brand new models of bikes and staff that are readily available to help with recommendations of routes or to come save the day if a crisis strikes!

Hey Debbie. Unfortunately this operator only deals with hard tail bike, as opposed to more downhill specific models. I would recommend shops in town such as Torpedo 7 or Vertigo for something that is a bit more specialist.
