One of the best times to visit the adventure capital of the world is the Queenstown ski season. Between June and October, skiers and snowboarders make the most of popular Queenstown ski resorts, including Cardrona Alpine Resort. The uncrowded slopes, high quality snow and excellent cafes & restaurants make Cardrona a top skiing Queenstown destination. Epic Queenstown winter activities such as the iconic red Shotover Jet, historic TSS Earnslaw and relaxing Onsen Hot Pools provide the perfect way to fill rest days and evenings after a day on the slopes.

Departures

• Cardrona Alpine Resort opens 8:30am - 4:00pm (lift pass valid from first lifts)
• Shotover Jet departs daily 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Walter Peak BBQ Lunch & Lake Cruise departs daily at 11:00am & 1:00pm
• Onsen Hot Pools evening pools available daily 5:00pm - 10:00pm
• Operates during winter (June - October)

Other Information

• Please note the TSS Earnslaw Steamship is on annual survey in June. From 4th to 28th June 2024, a substitute motorised vessel will operate as a replacement on this tour for a reduced price
• Child rates available on request (please specify ages)
• Package rates for up to 4 adults available. For larger groups, please contact us.
• Multi day ski passes do not need to be used in consecutive days (must be used within validity window provided upon booking)
• Minimum height for Shotover Jet is 1 metre (3ft). Can be raised to 1.2 metres with certain river conditions.
• Photos of your jetboat experience are available in the retail shop immediately after your ride
• Not suitable for pregnant women
