Start your adventure by climbing on board a New Zealand-made Kiwikkraft 580 jet boat with your local expert driver. Energy Jet put together a delicious assortment of fresh produce from the family farm with tea, coffee and dessert, which is carried with you up the Hurunui River. After finding a secluded riverside beach, the BBQ supplies are unloaded and it’s time for the jet boating thrills to begin.
Navigating shallow waters and narrow canyons, your Energy Jet ride powers up the Hurunui River at hair-raising speeds. In between adrenaline-pumping 360-degree spins and drifts, your Energy Jet driver pauses to provide interesting commentary on the history of Hurunui River and North Canterbury.
