Description

Try out this combo for a 40 minute adrenaline fuelled jet boat ride on the thrilling RealNZ Queenstown jet boat followed by an action packed 2 hour white water rafting trip on the Kawarau River (grade 2-3 rapids).

You will experience the RealNZ Queenstown jet boat race out of Queenstown Bay before sending passengers spinning with a full 360 degree spin to really wake up those on board. After speeding across the serene waters of Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu, you'll make your way up the mighty Kawarau river before being dropped off on the river banks for your 2 hour white water rafting trip. No messing about, straight from the jet boat to the raft!!

Whitewater rafting on the Kawarau River is the perfect option for first time rafters or those looking for a more relaxed experience. Enjoy the white water action with the opportunity to kick back, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Kawarau River on the calmer sections.

Minimum age 13 years (no child rates)
You must be able to swim
You must not be taking heart medication or have any heart conditions
The weight range for rafting is 40kg – 120kg
Children 13-17 years must be accompanied by an adult
Please bring swimwear, a towel & a warm jacket for after your trip
If you are pregnant you are unable to raft
Weather dependent

I loved the whitewater rafting experience! Would definitely do it again. It was the perfect mix of thrilling and calm whilst we enjoyed the scenery.

my son will be 12& 1/2 in Oct he is 160cm. He will be travelling with a 14 and 17 year old and 2 adults
Can he go on this activity

Hi there, unfortunately, the age restriction for rafting is 13 years old so your son will not be able to join this trip. Your family can all do the hour jet boat together though :)
