Description

Take a trip from Christchurch to Mount Cook with Robyn from Private Tours to experience heli skiing on the Tasman Glacier. Robyn will personally drive you and provide you with her wealth of knowledge. As a past member of the New Zealand Ski Team, and having skied extensively in New Zealand and overseas, Robyn is very experienced when it comes to ensuring you have the best ski adventure possible and loves sharing her expertise.  

Once in Mount Cook you can take a ski plane or helicopter to the top of the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand's longest Glacier, and with your guide ski down the face of the glacier to be picked up by your heli and returned Mount Cook Village. The skiing isn't too difficult and the scenery is out of this world!

Vehicle 
The touring vehicle is a SsangYong Rexton 2015 (four wheel drive with Mercedez – Benz technology). The vehicle is spacious, it features a high level of comfort and is fully compliant with New Zealand’s transport regulations as administered by Land Transport New Zealand for passenger service. 

Trip Includes

• Return transfers with your private guide from your Christchurch accommodation to Mount Cook
• Minimum of two days
• A safe 4x4 touring vehicle with an experienced driver in winter conditions
• Advice on your ski experience & stay in NZ

Other Information

• Accommodation, heli skiing & equipment is not included in cost
