The Skyline Rotorua complex is just minutes from Central Rotorua, high up on Mt Ngongotaha. At the top of the Gondola a multitude of activities await you so book the Half Day Adventure Package and experience a thrill a minute!
Begin your day with a leisurely ride up the Skyline Gondola, taking in the extensive views of Rotorua, the surrounding lakes and geothermal spots. Once at the top the adventure begins, choose to go luging, tackle the Zoom Zipline or head to the Skyswing first, the choice is yours to do them in whichever order you wish.
Luge Rides
The luge is incredible fast paced fun and suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness and ability! The luges are part go-cart, part toboggan and using the luge you will race downhill on specially built tracks, twisting and turning your way down. With varying levels of difficulty there are five tracks to choose from so if you have a need for speed head down the advanced one, looking for a more leisurely ride then chose the scenic track. Once at the bottom catch the chairlift back to the top and do it all again! The Half Day Adventure pack gives you 5 luge rides.
Skyswing
Take your seat on the three seater Skyswing and buckle up tight as you test your limits with Rotorua's highest and fastest adrenaline rush. The swing will hoist you 50 meters above the Skyline where you will come to a stop to take in the breathtaking view of Lake Rotorua and surrounds. Suspended by your harness you will then make the drop, reaching speeds of up to 150kmph this will give you a thrill like no other!
Zoom Zipline
Zoom Zipline takes you on an adventure in the sky high above Rotorua. The 383 metre zipline launches you from the top of the complex down the side of Mt Ngongotaha. You can choose your flying position and then you will be zipping through the air at speeds of up to 80kmph through Redwood Forests. The zipline finishes at the luge chairlift but alas! The fun isn't over yet. Take a leap of faith and jump off the gangplank to experience 10 metres of free fall on the Quickjump before the special braking system kicks in, ensuring a soft landing.

- The gondola opens at 9:00am on weekends & 10:00am on weekdays
- Head up the gondola at any time (but you will need to commence before 1pm if you want to fit in all the activities)
- Check in at the base of the gondola building, 178 Fairy Springs Road, Rotorua

- Child rates apply for kids aged 6 - 14 yrs
- Not suitable for children under 6 years
- Skyswing minimum height is 110cm
- Zoom Zipline minimum weight is 27kg, maximum 115kg
- Free parking at the Gondola base
- Your half day adventure ticket is an open ticket but please head up the gondola by 1pm at the latest
