We communicated via email and were always polite. They provided alternatives when other tours were booked out and responded in reasonable time. If I were to suggest anything, more instructions as it delayed our experience due to others not understanding the process.

It was a lovely day out. The weather was great for the tour. We didn’t realize we had to change our voucher to paper tickets so lucky we were there early to do this, so I suggest that you include this in your instructions. Another couple missed the ferry because of this and while on the tour we had to go back and get them. The bus driver was good, friendly and informative. The olive grove was great we really enjoyed it there. The winery we went to for lunch, we were advised by the driver to be back at a certain time and we didn’t get our main meal until ten minutes before we had to leave. The appetizers couples at our table had plates of their own where as we had to share ours with the 6 of us. So we took some off the people next to us as they didn’t eat much of theirs. The second winery the cable was impersonal compared to the other two wineries and the olive grove and recommend they do something to change their tasting experience. As it was boring to be honest, felt like we were herded to a room and sat there waiting to taste all very quiet. To be honest I was expecting a little more for the price I payed for this tour. The driver did say they weren’t going to all the wineries and that we were only going to do 3.

Belinda handled several events for us, including changes. Very responsive via email and even completed a refund on a tour we had to cancel very promptly.
Product rating:
Very well done. Maybe fewer participants (33 in our group). It would be more manageable and worth more.

Latest Questions about Food & Wine Tour - Taste of Waiheke (Auckland)
Hi, if we don't have to catch the ferry back at 4.30 what time is the last ferry home? We would like to stay a little longer to try at least one other winery. Are the buses easy and regular? Thanks
Comments
Hi,
Are you able to return on the ferry the following day rather than on the same day?
Comments
Heya, Yeah absolutely the ferry ticket is open so its up to you when you return :)
Your info says return trip to Auckland included. Is the trip over also included?
Comments
Hi there. Yes, the Waiheke ferry transfers are included each way from and to Auckland on the Taste of Waiheke food and wine tour. If you are staying in Devonport which is on the North Shore of Auckland on the other side of the Harbour then you can get picked up from there instead.
We will be arriving at the Langham Hotel on 83 Symonds Street that morning from a cruise. Is the Ferry Terminal on 99 Quay Street the closest location for us to get to? What is the latest time we should arrive?
Thanks
Comments
Hi There It's about a 15-minute walk down the hill from the Langham Hotel on Symonds Street to where the Waiheke ferry departs at the Auckland ferry terminal. The ferry departs promptly at 11 am so you'll need to check in at the ferry terminal by 10.45 am at the latest.

Hi there,
Thanks for your question.
That is not a problem at all the ferry tickets are open and you will be able to catch a later ferry if you wish after your Taste of Waiheke Food & Wine Tour. The last ferry back to Auckland is at 11:45 pm so you will have plenty of time on the island.
